Comfort Keepers® is now hiring compassionate caregivers in Union, SC, and surrounding areas for all shifts, including daytime, evening, overnight, weekday, and weekend schedules. Weekend availability is required.

Job Responsibilities

Personal Care

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, feeding, and personal hygiene
• Promote independence while ensuring client safety, dignity, and comfort
• Provide attentive, personalized care based on each client's individual needs

Cognitive Support

• Support clients living with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other memory-related conditions
• Use proven caregiving techniques to manage behaviors, reduce anxiety, and provide emotional reassurance
• Encourage engagement and meaningful daily routines

Companionship & Homemaking

• Prepare meals and assist with proper nutrition and hydration
• Provide medication reminders
• Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support
• Perform light housekeeping and help maintain a safe, clean home environment
• Communicate effectively with families and healthcare professionals regarding client needs and well-being
• Deliver compassionate, respectful care to all clients, including veterans and their families

Preferred Qualifications

• CNA, HHA, or PCA experience or certification preferred, but not required
• Compassionate, dependable, and professional attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Reliable transportation
